A colliery bing in Methil was among those targeted in a series of deliberate fires

Three youths have been charged after a series of deliberate fires in Fife.

On 22 April, fire crews in Methil were called to a blaze on Wellesley Road at 18:35, a colliery bing on Sea Road at 20:50, then a third incident on Rising Sun Road in Buckhaven at 21:00.

Two of the youths were also charged in connection with a fire on Lady Wynd in Buckhaven the next day.

Police Scotland said there was no reported injuries and the youths will be reported to the relevant authorities.

Part of Buckhaven was also set ablaze
