US actress Sydney Sweeney has taken her career to new heights by strapping herself to the top of a plane and flying over the Kent countryside.

The Euphoria star pulled off the wing-walking stunt on a biplane high above the village of Headcorn, near Ashford, last week.

Posting a video of the daring feat on social media on Monday, the 28-year-old also told Tom Cruise to "watch out" - the Hollywood action man having performed similar aerial acrobatics in the 2025 movie Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning.

Michael Pickin, director and pilot at Headcorn Aerodrome-based The Wing Walk Company, described Sweeney as having been "a bit apprehensive at first", but, ultimately, "an adrenaline junkie at heart".

The footage, which Sweeney shared with her 26 million Instagram followers, shows her filming herself whilst strapped upright to the wing of the aircraft, holding on as it performs barrel rolls and a loop-the-loop.

Sweeney was said to have arrived by helicopter from London with her partner Scooter Braun, who did a simultaneous wing-walk on a second biplane.

A former talent manager, Braun is best known for helping launch pop star Justin Bieber to fame and has worked with such stars as Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and Kanye West, but he retired from music management in 2024.

The Wing Walk Company bills itself as "the largest wing-walk experience company in the UK, with three aeroplanes flying across four locations".

The firm said it has been "inundated" with inquiries since Sweeney's post.

Among those commenting on it were This Is 40 actress Leslie Mann, who urged Sweeney to "be careful", while the official Instagram account for the Tom Cruise-starring Top Gun films added: "Feel the need for speed."

Pickin hoped the exposure would help boost wing-walking as the latest daredevil pastime.

"Adrenaline experiences like skydiving have been around for a long time and everybody knows about them, but wing-walking is relatively new," he said.

"Hopefully, this will help show more people what we do."
