Strip club proposed for city centre site
GoogleA strip club operator has applied to take over a former city centre restaurant site.
OMG L1 Venue Limited has applied to amend the premises licence for the North John Street venue to allow live and recorded music.
The Six by Nico restaurant shut due to flooding in August 2022 and the venue has remained closed ever since, the Local Democracy Reporting Service said.
Members of Liverpool City Council's licensing and gambling sub-committee will consider the application on 30 September.
If granted, the new licence would extend opening hours until 02:30 BST seven days a week.
The current licence permits opening from 10:00 BST to midnight Monday to Saturday and from 10:00 to 23:30 on Sundays.
A single objection to the new plans has been lodged with the committee.
The objector said there were "too many bars with music blasting from them in that area."
