Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man in his 30s was found dead, police said.

The man's next of kin have been notified after he was found in the Market Street area of Bracknell, at about 11:40 BST on Sunday but he has yet to be formally identified.

The three men, aged 27, 33 and 35, who are all from Bracknell, were also arrested on suspicion of assault by beating and remain in police custody.

Thames Valley Police said officers are expected to remain at the scene at Gowring House's service yard "for some time".

Det Supt Kevin Brown, head of the force's Major Crime Unit, said: "Our thoughts remain with the man's next of kin following his death.

"We are in the early stages of a complex investigation and we are following several lines of enquiry to establish the full circumstances around the murder.

"I would ask that at this time people refrain from speculation on social media or other mediums whilst we investigate to find the truth behind this incident and loss of life," he added.

"I would also ask that if anyone has information regarding the circumstances of this offence to make contact with us as soon as possible."
