Jamie Mottram died in a crash near Rugeley, Staffordshire, on Friday

A motorcyclist killed in a crash was a "true gentleman" who will be always missed, his family have said.

Jamie Mottram was riding his bike on the B5013 near Rugeley, Staffordshire, when it was involved in a crash with two cars, at about 16:15 BST on Friday.

Paramedics were called in but the 40-year-old, from Rugeley, was pronounced dead at the scene, Staffordshire Police said.

In a tribute to Mottram, his family said: "Our special, kind, loving Jamie was a true gentleman who adored and loved his family so much.

"He was a much-loved husband, father, son, brother and grandson who will be missed always and forever. We as a family cannot even express the complete heartbreak we feel."

They thanked those who tried to help Mottram after the crash and said their thoughts were with everyone involved.

"We will hold Jamie close to our hearts always and forever - a beautiful, kind man with a heart of gold," they added.
