Appeal after pedestrian dies in M25 collision

An 18-year-old man has died after a crash involving a pedestrian and several vehicles on the M25 in Surrey, police have said.

Officers were called to the anti-clockwise carriageway between junction 11 for Chertsey and junction 10 for Wisley, shortly before 23:50 BST on Monday.

The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin have been informed, police said. No arrests have been made.

Both carriageways of the M25 between Wisley and Chertsey, along with the A245 Parvis Road, were closed overnight but have since reopened.

Police investigating the crash have appealed for witnesses or anyone with CCTV, dashcam or helmet-cam footage to come forward.

Earlier, delays had built up on the motorway, following the closure.
