A road in Nottinghamshire is expected to be closed "for some time" following a serious crash, police have said.

Emergency services were called to Kilton Hill in Worksop at about 12:35 BST on Wednesday after a crash involving two motorcycles and a van.

Police said there was a closure between Kilton Crescent and Kilton Road for investigations and recovery work.

Worksop East county councillor Russell Dodd said there was a "large emergency response" to the crash, including two air ambulances.

No further details on injuries or any arrests have been issued by police, who are asking for witnesses, including anyone with dashcam footage, to make contact.
