Man in court after almost £300,000 of drugs seized

A man has appeared in court after drugs worth almost £300,000 were seized in a Moray town.

Police said Class A drugs with an estimated street value of £295,000 were recovered in the New Street area of Buckie on Thursday night.

Colin Cowie, 39, appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court on Monday.

He made no plea and was released on bail.
