A number of city centre roads have been closed after a fire broke out at a property.

Firefighters were called to a blaze on Worcester Street, Gloucester, just after 12:30 BST on Wednesday.

Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service (GFRS) said Worcester Street, Gouda Way and Black Dog Way were closed while crews tackled the blaze.

"Five fire engines are currently at the scene," a spokesperson said. "These have attended from Gloucester North, Gloucester South, Cheltenham East, Cheltenham West, and Stroud."
