It is the first time Loganair has operated routes to France

An airline has begun its first ever direct flights between Jersey and France.

Among the Loganair flights will be a service to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Ronnie Matheson, Loganair's chief commercial officer, said: "This is the first time in Loganair's long history that the airline has flown to France so it is a very proud day for all the team."

Flights to Bordeaux are scheduled to begin on 19 June and head of connectivity at Ports of Jersey, Paul Holley, said the two new routes would "represent an opportunity for Jersey to reach new markets, further supporting our visitor economy".
