M6 northbound closed after car transporter crash
National HighwaysThe M6 northbound has been closed in Warwickshire between junction two, for Coventry and three, for Bedworth, due to a crash involving a car transporter.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said they were called shortly before 14:00 BST on Thursday and found the male HGV driver had suffered minor injuries, but declined further treatment and was discharged at the scene.
A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police added they were called to reports of a lorry overturning on the M6 and advised road users to avoid the area.
National Highways said there were delays of 35 minutes coming up to the scene of the crash on Thursday afternoon.
The link road from the M69 southbound to the M6 junction two northbound was also closed.
Traffic caught within the closure was being released past the scene in lane one, the agency said.
Road users were advised to follow the hollow circle signposted diversion.
