Two arrested after stabbing and suspected kidnap

Two men have been arrested after an alleged kidnap where a man was found with stab wounds.

Thames Valley Police received multiple reports of a group wearing balaclavas putting a man into a vehicle in the Goring area of Stantonbury, Milton Keynes, at 23:40 BST on Saturday.

Officers found a man in his 20s with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where his condition was described by police as not life-threatening.

A 20-year-old man and a 58-year-old man, both from the city, have been arrested on suspicion of kidnap and wounding with intent and taken into police custody.

The force urged anyone with information or footage from the time of the incident to contact them.

It said it believed it was an "isolated incident".
