Queuing traffic has been seen after a lorry overturned and spilled its load on to a roundabout in East Sussex.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said it was called at about 15:10 BST on Monday to the A23/A27 Mill Road Roundabout near Brighton.

One person was treated by South East Coast Ambulance Service before being discharged, it said.

People have been urged to avoid the area and AA said there was queuing traffic because of the partially blocked road.

Police were managing road closures, the fire service said.

Sussex Police has been contacted for more information.
