Peter Kay announces fourth date in Hull

Peter Kay has confirmed he will play a fourth date in Hull due to "phenomenal demand".

The comedian will perform at Connexin Live on Sunday 11 October at 17:00 BST. Three other shows have already sold out.

They are part of Kay's Better Late Than Never tour which started in 2022, and they will be his first appearances on stage in Hull.

Tickets for the new date go on sale on Wednesday.

News of Kay's Hull dates was met with praise last week, with local comedy club owners saying they could put the city "on the comedy map".

Meanwhile, Kay told BBC Radio 2 that the gigs would celebrate "coastal comedy".

He will also take to the stage in Cardiff, Brighton and Blackpool, with all profits going to charity.
