Six deny supplying Class A drugs on estate

Six people including a 17-year-old boy have appeared in court charged with supplying cocaine and amphetamines.

The group - three men, two women and the teenager – pleaded not guilty at Bradford Crown Court earlier to drugs offences allegedly committed between March and April 2023 on the Holme Wood estate.

Codie Calvert, 23, Kelly Calvert, 41, and Karen Calvert, 62, all of Stirling Crescent, appeared in court alongside Aaron Stafford, 43, of Knutsford Grove, Liam Webster, 28, of Crawford Avenue, and the 17-year-old who cannot be identified for legal reasons.

Judge Ahmed Nadim granted the defendants bail and said a trial, which is expected to last 10 days, would start on 8 May 2028.

The charges follow an investigation under Operation Sweetgill, a police initiative in Holme Wood.

All the defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges of conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs.

Codie Calvert also denied a further charge of being concerned in the supply of cannabis in February 2023.
