Plans revealed for £28m warehouse units project

Plans have been revealed for warehouse units in Bilston with a combined commercial value of £28m.

If approved, the 166,500 sq ft development would be built off Brook Street next to Meadwood Industrial Estate and Bilston Urban Village nature reserve.

The project would be made up of 15 units in various sizes with solar panels and electric vehicle charging points.

Work could start in spring 2024 if plans are backed, creating up to 300 jobs, developer Goold Estates said.

The 12-acre site, which has been empty for more than 15 years, was previously used as a scrapyard and industrial works.
