Multiple crews have extinguished a field fire which broke out on Sunday afternoon in West Sussex.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (WSFRS) confirmed just before 15:00 BST that it had been called to an incident off Priors Leaze Lane in Nutbourne.

Seven fire engines and specialist vehicles attended the fire.

Officers have now left the scene, WSFRS said, adding that the area will continue to be monitored throughout the evening.
