Ramblers Wellbeing Walks Wolverhampton offers more than a dozen free walks a week, especially suited for people who may not walk very often, but want to get healthier and make friends.
It will hold the anniversary walk around Bantock Park on 9 June at 10:30 BST, with a celebration event with refreshments following between 11:00 and 12:00.
The group was established in 2021, having formally been known as Walking for Health, which started in 2001.
Walks in the regular programme vary from half an hour to an hour and a half, depending on the location.
City of Wolverhampton Council cabinet member for health, wellbeing and community, Obaida Ahmed, said walking was "not just an excellent social activity, but also brings with it a huge number of health benefits".
She added: "It helps lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease, it strengthens bones and muscles, it improves balance and coordination, and it can help maintain a healthy weight.
"Evidence also suggests that just a 20-minute walk per day helps prevent and manage chronic illnesses and can also help prevent dementia."
