Three-day agricultural show gets under way
BBCA long-running agricultural show is expected to attract about 85,000 visitors over the next three days.
The New Forest and Hampshire County Show traces its origins to a village event in 1920.
It has expanded to include stunt displays, live music and cookery demonstrations alongside the regular livestock and produce competitions.
Gates open at 08:00 BST at the New Park showground, between Brockenhurst and Lyndhurst.
The show's main act for 2026 is called Horsepower Fury - a stunt show featuring both horses and motorcycles.
Other main attractions include the Grand Parade of award-winning livestock, a parade of historical farm vehicles and a tug of war.
Roads in the area can be congested on show days and organisers have advised drivers to share cars or use their park-and-ride service from Brockenhurst.
