Rapper Digga D made more than £150,000 dealing cannabis, a court has heard.

The drill star, whose real name is Rhys Herbert, was jailed for three years and 11 months in January 2025 for importing cannabis and selling 99lbs (45kg) of it on a commercial scale.

Following his conviction, a Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) hearing was ordered to calculate the financial benefit from his crimes and recover the proceeds.

On Friday, a preliminary POCA hearing at Lincoln Crown Court was told the financial benefit from Herbert's crimes had been agreed at £153,000.

Prosecution barrister Katherine White, along with Ryan Thompson, for Herbert, asked for the POCA proceedings to be adjourned so further agreement could be reached on money transfers and jewellery identified during the investigation.

The case was adjourned until 18 September.

Herbert, 25, who has now been released from custody, followed proceedings via a video link.

The rapper, who the court previously heard had earnings in excess of £3m from his music career, was arrested at his property in Bracebridge Heath, near Lincoln, in the early hours of 21 February 2024 while broadcasting on Instagram Live.

He previously pleaded guilty to a charge of importing 6.6lbs (3.6kg) of cannabis in June and July 2023 and a second charge of being concerned in the supply of cannabis.
