Woman seriously injured by reversing van

A woman suffered life-threatening injuries when she was hit by a reversing van, police have said.

The 58-year-old pedestrian was hit by a Ford Transit van just before 19:00 BST on Tuesday on Denbury Mount in Bradford.

West Yorkshire Police said she was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The force urged anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the van prior to the incident to get in touch.
