A vehicle has been damaged in an arson attack overnight.

Sussex Police said it was called to the junction of Winchelsea Road and Wartling Road, in Eastbourne, at 01:00 BST on Saturday.

The force said the vehicle had been "deliberately set alight", adding that no-one had been hurt.

Officers have carried out house-to-house enquiries and gathered CCTV and urged witnesses and anyone with information to get in touch.
