Tributes to man killed in Aldi car park collision
West Yorkshire PoliceTributes have been paid to a "much-loved" man who died after he was hit by a car in a supermarket car park in West Yorkshire.
David Bush, 77, was seriously injured when he was struck by a Toyota Prius in the Aldi car park on Halifax Road, Brighouse at 12:55 BST on 6 August.
He was taken to hospital but sadly died on Monday. Paying tribute, his family said: "David was a much-loved husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed dearly by those knew him."
A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and has now been bailed pending further inquiries, police said.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage of the incident.
