People living in flats above a business were forced to leave their homes in the early hours after a fire broke out.

Crews from three stations were called to the blaze in Charminster Road, Bournemouth, shortly before 05:10 BST.

Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said 13 people in the flats above the fire were led to safety as a precaution.

The service said the fire was now out and it was being investigated, but it was believed to have started accidentally.
