Two men charged after town centre stabbings
BBCTwo men have been charged after two people were stabbed in Stoke-on-Trent on Saturday.
It comes after officers were called to The Strand, in Longton, at 11:45 BST, following a report of a group of people fighting in the street with weapons.
Aldo Hala, 22, of Goldenhill, was charged with two counts wounding, one count of violent disorder and one count of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
Konstandin Kola, 28, of Penkhull, was charged with two counts of wounding with intent, one count of violent disorder, driving a motor vehicle dangerously and using a motor vehicle without insurance.

Two men were injured in the incident and were taken to hospital. They remain there in a stable condition on Monday, according to Staffordshire Police.
They added that Hala and Kola were both also due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Monday.
A 26-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, who was also arrested in connection with the incident, has been bailed with conditions while inquiries continue.
