There are severe delays on the M5 after a lorry overturned on a motorway slip road.

National Highways said the southbound junction 21 slip road near Weston-super-Mare was closed while clean-up work was underway.

It told drivers to expect delays of about 79 minutes on the approach, with about six miles of congestion.

Footage posted on social media appeared to show emergency service vehicles at the scene of the incident.
