Family pay tribute to teen after fatal off-road bike crash
Family HandoutThe family of a 18-year-old man who died in a fatal crash in south Wales have paid tribute to him, saying his "smile brought so much joy to everyone who knew him".
Ceiran Evans died following a fatal crash between a car and an off-road bike on Pen Cae Crwn Road, in Gorseinon, Swansea, at about 13:00 BST on 9 July.
Tyler Ford, a decorated world kickboxing champion, has been charged with murder and four other men have also been arrested as part of the investigation and are on police bail.
Ford has also been charged with the attempted murder of a second man, 19.
Ceiran's family said in a statement: "He will forever be our precious baby boy; always loved, always remembered and never forgotten."
They said he had a "kind heart, wicked sense of humour" and had a "loving nature".
"Ceiran was loved more than any words can say and will be missed every single day," they said.
"His kind heart, wicked sense of humour, loving nature and handsome smile brought so much joy to everyone who knew him."
South Wales Police have asked witnesses or anyone with video footage of the incident to contact the force.
Ford was inducted into the Kickboxing Hall of Fame at the age of eight.
He received the Britain Citizen Youth Award medal at Westminster Palace in 2018 for services to sport and charity, as well as winning the Young Person St David Award in 2020.
He has also acted in various films and TV dramas as a stunt performer, including the BBC Wales drama, Keeping Faith.
