Police said two men had been arrested on suspicion of affray

Two men have been taken to hospital after reports of a stabbing at a property in Wakefield.

West Yorkshire Police said officers were called by paramedics to reports of a domestic stabbing at an address on Elizabeth Street in the Agbrigg area at about 22:45 BST on Monday.

The force said one man was treated for a chest injury believed to have been caused by a "bladed item" and another was treated for a head injury. None of the injuries are thought to be life threatening.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of affray and inquiries are ongoing, a spokesperson said.
