Search for owners of 25-year-old park handprints
Maidstone Borough CouncilA search is under way to track down people who left their handprints on a display, or sponsored a plaque, in a Kent park 25 years ago.
Whatman Park in Maidstone is celebrating its silver anniversary, with a raft of celebrations planned.
These include a concert funded by Maidstone Borough Council due to take place on 18 July - and anyone who put their handprint on the wall has a chance to win VIP tickets.
Ian Tucker, chairman of the Maidstone River Park Anniversary Committee, said: "The handprints and sponsor names around the park tell the story of a huge community effort, and we'd love to reconnect with as many of those people as possible as we mark 25 years of the River Park."
Maidstone Borough CouncilTucker added: "Maidstone River Park has been shaped by the people who supported it from the very beginning, and this anniversary is about celebrating those connections."
Maidstone's River Festival on 25 July will also have a Jubilee Party theme in honour of the celebration.
