Police investigate suspicious death of man in 60s

Police said the death of the man was now being treated as suspicious

An investigation is under way into a suspicious death after a man's body was found in the Dogsthorpe area of Peterborough.

The man, in his 60s, was discovered at about 07:15 BST on Monday in Campion Road.

Cambridgeshire Police initially said the man's death was unexplained, but the force has since confirmed it was now being treated as suspicious. A cordon remains in place at the scene.

A post-mortem examination is expected to take place later this week.
