A shopping centre has shut for the second time in less than a month - this time after a failure of a tempered glass panel.

The Buttermarket in Ipswich announced on Monday night it would have to close temporarily after the issue in the north mall.

It said it would reopen "as soon as safety measures are in place" and it apologised for any inconvenience caused.

The shopping centre previously closed at the end of August for several days due to a burst water main.
