Relatives described Yvonne Kemp as a "much-loved mum"

A woman found dead at a house in Manchester has been described by her family as a "much-loved mum, nana, sister and auntie" with a "caring heart, strength and kindness".

Yvonne Kemp, 57, was found at an address on Crondall Street in Moss Side after police were called to reports of a disturbance at about 13:30 BST on Monday.

Greater Manchester Police launched a murder investigation following her death. A 26-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder and detained under the Mental Health Act.

Relatives released a photograph of Kemp with her partner, Tom Grant, and said she was the kind of person who would "do anything for anyone".

In a tribute, her family said: "Yvonne will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her."

"She leaves behind a family who love her dearly and memories that will be cherished forever."
