Three charged with gun murder of 'loved' dad
Cleveland PoliceThree people have been charged with the murder of a man who was shot last weekend.
Peter Phillips, 47, was found dead at Ayton Crescent in Eston, near Middlesbrough, on Saturday at about 23:00 BST. Cleveland Police said he died from a single gunshot wound.
In a tribute, his relatives said: "Peter had a big family who all loved him, he was the heart and soul of our family."
Two 39-year-old men and a 38-year-old woman have been charged with murder and were remanded in custody to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
A man aged 29 who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been bailed pending further enquiries.
