Boy, 16, among two arrested over death crash

Two people, including a 16-year-old boy, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a crash in North Lincolnshire.

Emergency crews were called to reports of a crash involving a white Volkswagen and a blue Honda on East Halton Road in South Killingholme, at about 21:00 BST on Sunday.

A 43-year-old man died at the scene, a Humberside Police said.

Two men, both aged 42, suffered serious injuries. One of the men was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs, while a 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and drug driving.

Both remain in police custody as inquiries continue, the force added.

Witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage is asked to contact police.
