Patrick Wiggins and another man, Kane Lilleyman, assaulted the man and woman at Brayford Pool, Lincoln, in January.

Lilleyman, 35, of Arthur Street in Lincoln, pleaded guilty to affray and was given a 15-month prison sentence, suspended for two years.
Both were sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court on Friday.
Det Con Emma Woolridge said: "The sentence reflects the seriousness of the attack, particularly given the use of a meat cleaver.
"The incident has had a profound impact on the victim, and it is hoped the sentence will deter others from carrying or using knives, or other bladed weapons, sending a clear message about the consequences of such offences."
