Motorcyclist in his 20s killed in crash with car
GoogleA motorcyclist in his 20s has died following a crash, police have said.
Lancashire Police said a blue Triumph Daytona motorbike had been in collision with a black Vauxhall Corsa at about 16:43 BST on Wednesday in Accrington.
The biker was taken to hospital where he died shortly afterwards.
Officers have appealed for any witnesses to the incident, which happened on Queen's Road, to come forward.
Sgt Helen Parkinson, of Lancashire's roads policing unit, said: "A man has very sadly died following this collision, and our thoughts remain with his family and loved ones at this difficult time.
"We are in the early stages of our investigation, and I am appealing directly to you, the public, for your assistance.
"If you witnessed this collision, have any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage, or have any information that could assist us, please do get in touch with us."
