Teenager held in murder probe after man stabbed
BBCA man has died after being stabbed in the Moss Side area of Manchester.
He was assaulted on Raby Street about 23:00 BST on Friday, Greater Manchester Police said.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody for questioning.
Police appealed for anyone with information or video footage to contact them and said specialist officers were supporting the victim's family.
Det Supt Toby Facey said: "This was a shocking act of violence, and our thoughts remain with the victim and his family at this incredibly difficult time.
"I would like to reassure the community that we believe this was a targeted attack and poses no wider risk to the public.
"We understand this is a deeply concerning incident, and we will have extra patrols in the area. I encourage anyone with concerns or queries to please speak with our teams."
