New sighting of missing Lillia, 13

Sighting of missing Bolton girl Lillia, last seen in a McDonalds in Piccadilly in Manchester.

Police have received fresh CCTV of a girl who has been missing from home for a week.

Lillia, 13, from Bolton, was last seen by her family last Friday, but was seen later that evening in Manchester's Picadilly bus station, and at the Trafford Centre the following day.

Officers who have been handing out hundreds of leaflets to try to locate Lillia have now released new footage of her at a McDonald's restaurant in Piccadilly from Sunday at about 20:20 BST.

Greater Manchester Police Ch Spt Int Helen Critchley said: "Officers are making every effort to locate Lillia, and our team have been working through hours of CCTV footage and exploring every avenue to try and find her."

At a press conference on Thursday, Critchley issued an appeal on behalf of Lillia's mother Jessica, saying: "Lillia, if you see this appeal, please know your family love you, miss you and just want to know that you are safe.

"You are not in any trouble, they simply want you to come home."

Lillia was seen boarding a 247 bus from the Trafford Centre on Saturday, heading in the direction of Altrincham, but it was not known where she got off.

Critchley said the McDonalds sighting was the last confirmed sighting of her, adding: "Our investigation currently covers the whole of Greater Manchester with officers across the force being asked to support our enquiries.

"We are also mindful that Lillia could have travelled outside of the Manchester area and are keeping an open mind regarding this possibility."

Police describe Lillia as about 5ft 5in tall with light brown hair and glasses

The force wants to hear from anyone who may have relevant CCTV or doorbell footage, or who has had any contact with Lillia since she was reported missing.

The teenager is described as slim, about 5ft 5in (1.67m) with light brown hair and glasses, and was last seen wearing a black zip-up hooded top, light blue baggy jeans, and a black Nike backpack.

Please report any information, no matter how small."
