Public tried to save life of park stabbing victim
Essex PoliceMembers of the public tried to save a man's life after he was stabbed in a city centre park, an inquest heard.
Radwan Shakur, 21, from Wembley in north-west London, was fatally stabbed in Central Park in Chelmsford on 12 June.
Area coroner Michelle Brown told an inquest hearing that witnesses tried to assist "with wound pressure and CPR" before Shakur died at the scene at 19:32 BST.
The provisional cause of death has been given as a stab wound to the heart.
James GardnerTwo teenagers have been charged with murder and appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court on 16 June.
Romeo Mfinda, 18, of Widford Chase, Chelmsford, and a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named because of his age, are in custody until their next hearing on 4 August.
The pair were also accused of possession with intent to supply cannabis and possession of a knife in a public place.
At Essex Coroner's Court in Chelmsford, Brown formally suspended the inquest for police investigations to continue.
