BBCA man whose body was found inside a suitcase in woodland in Kent has been named by the Metropolitan Police.
Dale Mundell, from Islington, was found in Borstal on 10 July after Metropolitan Police officers were called to a property in Wimbledon, south-west London the day before due to concerns for a man's welfare.
Joshua Miller, 32, of Kingfisher Court, Wimbledon, appeared via video link at Medway Magistrates' Court charged with murdering the 34-year-old on 8 July and preventing a lawful burial on 9 July.
He appeared alongside co-defendant Jamie Cooper, 27, of the same address, who is charged with preventing a lawful burial.
The Met said officers attended an address in Kingfisher Court at about 22:55 BST on 9 July, but no-one was found inside the property.
Police said they believed someone had "come to harm" at the address and launched an investigation.
According to police, Mundell and the two men charged were known to each other.
Miller is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 15 July.
Both defendants are due to appear at the same court on 10 August for a plea hearing.
