Three taken to hospital after car crash in Aboyne

Three people have been taken to hospital following a three-vehicle crash on the A93 in Aberdeenshire.

The Scottish Ambulance Service said two ambulances, two special operations response teams, an air ambulance and a critical care team were dispatched.

The three casualties were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, one by air ambulance.

The road between Dinnet and Aboyne has been closed following the crash, which happened just before 12.30. Drivers have been asked to use an alternative route.
