Cyclist, 14, seriously injured in crash

A 14-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries after the bike he was riding collided with a car, Humberside Police said.

The crash happened at the junction of Oxford Street and Victor Street in Grimsby at about 08:30 BST on Tuesday.

A police spokesperson said an inquiry was underway "to ascertain the full circumstances of the collision".

Investigators are appealing for witnesses and any CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident.
