Police are no longer investigating the death of a man who died in a tent after finding no evidence to link the death to any criminal offence.

A deceased man, aged in his 40s and from Bournemouth, was found in the tent in a wooded area off Holes Bay Road, Poole, shortly before 08:15 BST on 3 April 2025.

A 19-year-old man, from Poole, had been arrested on suspicion of murder but he has been released from under investigation and will face no police action.

Dorset Police said it closed the case following an "extensive investigation", which included "detailed toxicological and pathological submissions".

Detectives will assist the coroner who will now carry out an inquest into the man's death.
