Four arrested after man stabbed to death

Four people have been arrested after a man was stabbed to death in Birmingham.

West Midlands Police officers were called to Walford Road, Sparkbrook, at about 18:20 BST on Thursday to reports that a man, believed to be in his 40s, had been stabbed. He was pronounced dead at about 19:00.

A man, 29, from Bristol was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of murder, while three other people, also from the same city, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

The force urged anyone with information or video footage from the area at the time of the stabbing to get in touch with officers.
