Teenage boy arrested on suspicion of rape

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of rape, Lincolnshire Police said.

The force said a 17-year-old woman reported being assaulted in the Earlesfield Lane and Thames Road area of Grantham at around 03:00 BST on Sunday.

The teenager remains in custody and is being questioned by officers.

Investigators have appealed for witnesses and any video footage of the incident.
