Police launch investigation after man dies in street
BBCPolice have launched an investigation into the death of a man who collapsed in a street in Derby.
Derbyshire Police said it was called to Liversage Street at 05:13 BST on Thursday.
Officers attended the scene and started treatment, but the man was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The force is appealing for anyone who may be able to help officers identify the man, who was found wearing jeans, a dark-coloured T-shirt, a grey fleece top, hiking/work boots, and was carrying a rucksack and a red and light blue carrier bag.
Inquiries into the circumstances of the man's death are ongoing.
Detectives have said they particularly want to hear from anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage from the area around Liversage Street between midnight and 05:13.
