Lorry crash leads to long delays on A1(M)

The crash happened on the A1(M) just south of Peterborough

Drivers faced long delays on the A1(M) near Peterborough after a trailer overturned.

Three lanes out of four were shut southbound during the morning rush-hour, between junction 16 for Yaxley and junction 15 for Alconbury.

Drivers faced delays of up to an hour and miles of congestion back to Peterborough.

All lanes have since reopened.
