A 15-year-old boy has denied the attempted murder of a teacher

A 15-year-old boy has denied attempted murder but pleaded guilty to possessing a knife following the stabbing of a teacher at a school.

Milford Haven Comprehensive school, Pembrokeshire, was placed in lockdown at about 15:20 on 5 February, following reports of an assault on a teacher.

A previous court hearing was told the boy, who cannot be named due to his age, attacked teacher Vicky Williams with a kitchen knife. She was discharged from hospital that night after being treated for an injury.

The boy, who spoke only to confirm his name at Swansea Crown court on Friday, denies attempted murder, wounding with intent, and unlawful wounding.

The teenager will remain in youth detention until he faces trial on 6 July.
