Boxing club asks for help to move ring for event

Members of a boxing club in Guernsey are asking for help to move their boxing ring for an event.

The Guernsey Amalgamated Boxing Club said it needed to "hire/borrow a Luton van or similar" from 20-22 April.

It is due to take part in a Guernsey Dinner Boxing Club event at the St Pierre Park Hotel against a team from Liverpool on 21 April - its last show of the current season.

The club said it would normally use the vehicle firm Rabeys to move the ring, but that went into liquidation last week.

Anyone who could assist has been asked to contact the club.
