Junction to close for TT footbridge installation
IOM TTA major junction in the centre of the Isle of Man's capital is set to be out of action for up to three hours for the reinstatement of a pedestrian footbridge.
The metal structure will be put back in place at St Ninian's traffic lights between 06:00 BST and 09:00 on Sunday.
The bridge allows pedestrians access between the inside and the outside of the Mountain Course during qualifying and race session for the Isle of Man TT.
The closure means there will be no through access at the traffic lights from Ballaquayle Road, Glencrutchery Road, Bray Hill and Ballanard Road.
The bridge is set to be put in place by a contractor on behalf of race organisers, the Department for Enterprise.
A contingency date of 10 May has been set aside for the work should it need to be postponed on Sunday.
The 2026 Isle of Man TT races run from 25 May to 6 June.
